Origins

The name Garnet comes from the Roman word 'grants' meaning seeds the stones were thought to resemble pomegranate seeds.

1. Whenever possible put your Garnet jewellery on after applying any lotions, perfumes or sprays and remove when doing the dishes or other tough jobs such as gardening.

2. Clean your Garnet jewellery using shop bought jewellery cleaner or with mild soap and warm water, scrub gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse in warm water and dry using a soft cloth, a sonic cleaner can also be used.
